Democratic Convention

Last night started off the Democratic Convention. Of course, I plan on watching all of it. I also plan on watching the Republican Convention next week. I think it is important to hear what both sides are trying to say. I would have to say that Michelle Obama had a terrific speech. She has gotten a lot of critism but she did an excellant job last night. If you want to read a little about her speech click on the title. She said, "As I tuck that little girl and her little sister into bed at night, I think about how one day, they’ll have families of their own. And one day, they — and your sons and daughters — will tell their own children about what we did together in this election. They’ll tell them how this time, we listened to our hopes instead of our fears. How this time, we decided to stop doubting and to start dreaming.” I would love it if this campaign could actually accomplish some of the things they have been campaigning on. With the way our political system is set up, I don't know if it is possible.
